By Step Up For Students

In February 2007, Nick Loeb, President of Loeb Investments and a member of the Step Up For Students Advisory Board, hosted a fundraiser to benefit Step Up For The Students. Loeb is a community activist whose own efforts have raised $40,000 in administrative funding for the scholarship program, enabling more than 1,600 economically disadvantaged children to receive scholarships.

As part of his continued efforts to better education in Florida, Loeb invited members of the local business, social and political communities to his home in Delray Beach to introduce them to the scholarship program. The event was successful in forming new partnerships for Step Up For Students and raising vital administrative dollars for the scholarship program. The generous donations were used to distribute $225,000 in K-12 scholarships to provide 60 low-income children with educational options.
