735 Contributions in Support of Nick’s Campaign for State Senate District 25 Seat.
(Delray Beach, FL) - Nick Loeb, Republican candidate for the Florida State Senate in District 25, announced today having raised $225,955 in monetary contributions for his campaign in the first three months for the report ending June 30, 2009. Loeb received 735 contributions yielding an average of $307.42 per contribution.
“I am grateful for the support I have received to date, and know I must work very hard in this primary with two well-funded Tallahassee veterans,” said Loeb. “With over 87% of our contributions coming from within Florida, and 84% of those from Palm Beach and Broward counties, we are pleased with the beginning of this effort, but it is just a beginning.”
Loeb is the Managing Partner of Carbon Solutions America, a South Florida-based sustainability consulting and carbon management firm.
Loeb announced his candidacy for State House District 87 on April 2nd, and opened his account May 20th for the State Senate vacancy created when Senate President Jeff Atwater filed to run for the office of Florida’s Chief Financial Officer. Per Florida statute, a form advising contributors they could request a refund due to the change in office was mailed to contributors on May 26th. Only six contributors requested that refund, totaling $2,500.
Nick Loeb, a resident of Delray Beach, and his wife Anna each contributed $500 to the campaign, and Nick provided $6,600 of in-kind contributions in office space and equipment. Florida Senate District 25 is predominately a coastal district located in Palm Beach and Broward counties.
